The Italian Network of the PhD Courses in Food Science, Technology and Biotechnology and Federalimentare are pleased to announce the 4th Edition of the “What for” Award.

The initiative is aimed at:

  • consolidating the relationship between the food industry and the research doctorate courses in the food sector;
  • favoring the orientation of training courses towards issues of industrial interest;
  • attracting knowledgeable and motivated young reasearchers in food industries.

The Award is aimed at promoting awareness among young researchers of the effects of the application of the research carried out by them and the ability to communicate, in a synthetic and effective way, how to promote technological transfer.

The announcement of the winner and the awarding ceremony will take place on September 13th in Florence, Sant’Apollonia.

The amount of the prize is 500.00 euro.
